small cocoa producers project

We are on a mission to support communities in the Amazon region of Brazil and preserve the precious Amazon Forest. But we can't do it without you!

Chocolates De Mendes, one of our initiatives, crafts delicious chocolate using cocoa beans sourced exclusively from the Amazon and in partnership with traditional communities such as indigenous peoples, quilombolas, riverside communities, women's organizations and family farmers.

Native to the Amazon, cocoa helps preserve the forest, generate income and recuperate degraded areas.

It supports sustainable practices and the livelihoods of smallholder cocoa producers.

  • BKK Institute receives the resources, manages implementation, and ensures that the funds are used in the most efficient way.
  • You can help by donating any amount to the BKK Institute to fund materials and assistance.
  • The average cost of these materials, not found locally, is about US$ 900 per kit.
